Archive: sculptures by Herb Rosenberg

In preparation for his exhibition at the New Jersey State Museum, Rosenberg experimented with large columns to accommodate the huge galleries at the museum. Galvanized steel was initially fabricated with the illusory surfaces machined into their surfaces. These columns were crafted in sections, standing six to nine feet tall.
